It is with great sadness that I notify you of the passing of past County player, Pam Duncan. Pam died at the end of December and her funeral is on Tuesday 17th January, 1200 at Mortonhall Crematorium.
Pam played at Craigmillar Park (CPGC) and was a past MCLGA member and County player. She was the MCLGA County Championship runner up in 1986 and a County Team player: 1979, 1980, 1983, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988.
She was CPGC Ladies Champion: 1977; 1980 – 1983, 1986. Pam won most of the trophies at club level in particular the Open Mixed Foursomes scratch trophy 7 times and our winter foursomes 5 times. She was definitely a foursomes specialist and a great player to have on your team.
Pam was part of the winning CPGC team who won the Ladies Inter-Club tournament in 1978
She was also a team member when CPGC won the McFarlane Cup in 1997.
Pam also represented CPGC on numerous occasions in the 5 a side league matches.
