Gabrielle MacDonald is the 2018 MCLGA Champion

Gabrielle MacDonald is the 2018 MCLGA Champion.

 

This afternoon she beat Kate Rorke from Kingsknowe 6/5.  Kate went 1 up at the first and held the lead until the 3rd.  It stayed level at 4th with two great birdies.  Gabrielle continued with a birdie at the 5th to take the lead and continued in the driving seat until the 13th where she won with another birdie.

It has been a great weekend of exciting, competitive golf.  Thanks to all those who came to support the players and spectators.  Many thanks to Louise Fraser, Norma Richmond, Gail Joughin (referee) & Lisa Kilpatrick for their help with organisation.
