In the first semi final Kate went 2 up, birdying the first then winning the second. Kate settled in and it wasn’t until the 8th that Jennifer got it back to 1. By the twelth, Kate had increased her lead to 3 before Jennifer won the next hole. Kate won the 14th, halved the 15th then took the 16th by narrowly missing a hole in one to win the match.
Gabrielle started well and fought off a determined battle from Hannah, generally keeping her to a one hole lead. Both were playing well with long drives and accurate approach shots and were back to all square after the 16th. Hannah played well on the 17th with a 4 only to be outdone by Gabrielle scoring a birdie from the fringe. At the 18th Gabrielle had a massive drive to centre fairway whilst Hannah veered right landing at the foot of a tall pine. After a recovery shot from an almost impossible lie, Hannah found the sand at the back of the green. Meanwhile Gabrielle had played nicely on to the green making success a certainty.
