On Saturday 30th August at Swanston Golf Club Alannah Nichol (Swanston) & Katie Mackenzie (Craigmillar Park) played in the final of the junior hole & hole.
Katie was giving Alannah 11 shots & there was never any more than 1 hole between the girls.
Katie had a great chip in from 40 yards away on the 2nd for a 2 & the girls halved 2 other holes with birdies & despite Katie playing the first 4 holes in 2 under par she found herself 1 down.
Alannah had a great birdie nett eagle on the 10th & holed a number of crucial putts in the match.
Alannah was 1 up playing the par 3 17th & with both girls finding the green Katie secured a win with a par to head down the 18th all square.
Katie secured a win with a good drive & approach onto the green & an easy 4 to win the match.
