Another glorious day for the MCLGA members in 2019 for our competition day. The Summer Meeting takes us to Ratho Park GC. The last time MCLGA had an event here for their members was the Spring Meeting in 2013 where 56 players played that day and today we had over 80 players.

The (optional) 2s sweep total was £78 and won by 11 players each receiving £7 each –

Thanks to everybody who bought raffle squares totaling £124 supporting our Juniors. The amount paid out in prizes was £37. Thanks to members who made a separate donation totaling £14. The total amount donated to the Junior funds was £101. Prize winners-

Thanks to Ratho Park GC for hosting the Summer Meeting today and to the pro shop for the special clothing offers and for starting our players. Thanks to the green staff as the course was set up in excellent condition and to the catering staff for opening up early and keeping the kitchen open until 8pm. Finally, thanks to all our MCLGA officials and Ratho Park volunteers who helped make the event run smoothly.
Our next event is the Bi-annual Tri-Am kindly hosted and run by Prestonfield GC (led by MCLGA Rep Maxine Nicholson). Entries are filling up fast and entry forms are available online now.
