Representing MCLGA, Caroline Mansley and Margaret Hobbins attended the Scottish Golf Limited (SGL) EGM and Women and Girls workshop held last Sunday December 3rd 2023. The workshop captured” what is working well”, “what is not working today” and “how could the attendees and SGL could work better together” to uplift participation across all Women and Girls.
The data captured will be used by SGL as input to their proposed Women and Girls development programme which will be shared at Regional Forums planned for the middle of January 2024.
At the EGM, the membership was to asked to consider and vote on proposed changes to the Articles of Association. While a 68% majority in favour was achieved the requisite 75%, was no met, and therefore the resolution was not passed.
