Karen Ballantyne becomes Scottish Vets Champion

Congratulations to Karen Ballantyne (Craigmillar Park) who, today won the Scottish Vets Ladies’ Golf Association Championship which was being played over the Lansdowne Course at Blairgowrie. Having beaten the Highland Vets Champion and Senior European Team member Ann Ryan in the semi finals by 2 holes, Karen met West Vets Champion May Hughes in the final and came out on top by a 2&1 margin. May had beaten Midland Vets Champion and Midlothian member, Fiona de Vries in the semi finals.
