The morning saw us go down to a very strong Fife team. Although we were down on most matches for most of the time the girls fought extremely hard with most matches finishing on the 17th. In the afternoon we faced East Lothian who lost on count back to S & C.
In the afternoon we faced East Lothian and although we fought to the last we lost 1/2 to 11/2 each game going to the 18th. Carys and Eilidh played first followed by Alex and Sam. Both pairs fought hard but failed to conquer the eighteenth hole to clinch each match – the first pair getting a half whilst the second pair lost one down. The girls showed great determination and tenacity fighting to the last.
Fife went on to win the trophy in a convincing manner.
