The selection committee is pleased to announce the team for the Scottish County Finals which are being held at Dumfries and County from 16-18 September. Midlothian will play Ayrshire on the Friday, Perth & Kinross on the Saturday and Dumfriesshire on the Sunday.
Unfortunately, we are losing three of our team who got us to the finals. Rachael Watton has left for the USA on a four year golf scholarship, Louise Fraser is heading down under for a long planned for trip and Claire Hargan, in her role as SLGA Championship Manager is responsible for running the finals. However we do have great replacements. Kirsten Blackwood (Glencorse) returns to the team and both Linda Bain (Lochend) and Sal Shepherd (Craigmillar Park) come into the team for the first time. The team are looking forward to the Finals and following two challenging warm up games against Broomieknowe and Duddingston men, are getting themselves ready for the challenge ahead.
