The Scottish Women’s Championship teed off on Friday 24th May at Nairn Dunbar G.C. MCLGA was well represented with Freya Constable, Rachael Livingstone, Hilary Laughland-Hogg, Louise Fraser, Caroline Steedman, Karen Marshall, Wendy Nicholson , Lucy Morrison, Megan Fallon and Linda Robertson all playing 36 holes looking to qualify for the knockout weekends.
At close of play on Friday night, Freya Constable finished 10th with a +3 aggregate score over the 36 holes and Rachael Livingstone scored +7 finishing 23rd. Both now play this weekend.
Freya, finishing in the top 16 plays continues to play in the scratch Championship event with Rachael finishing in the next 16 competing in the Scottish Women’s Amateur Clark Rosebowl Match play.
Well done to all who played and good luck to both Freya and Rachael as they battle it out over the weekend in their respective competitions.
