A record 22 couples braved the windy conditions today at Swanston to compete in the popular Adult/Girl Competition.Thankfully it remained dry and not particularly cold.
Despite the challenging conditions some excellent golf was played and everyone had fun.
We also ran our annual putting competition which had to be cancelled in April because of the weather.
Results were as follows:
Ist Scratch Louisa & Robert Forman 36
1st handicap Grace & Stephen Marshall 37 – 14 = 23
2nd handicap Victoria & David Cameron 39 – 14 = 25
3rd handicap Rachel & Norman Skillen 38 – 12.5 = 25.5
Ist non-handicap putting (6 holes) and winner of trophy Georgia Ledingham 13 putts
Ist handicap putting Emma Morrison 12 putts

We will hold another similar competition in November and our usual 9 hole competition for the girls on
Sunday September 21st.
