The Spring Meeting and A&B Championship Qualifier at Murrayfield GC on Monday 6th May is now open for entries from 1st April until 28th April. The draw will be made shortly thereafter. A&B Championship Matchplay will be over Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May.
Associate Members cannot enter the Spring Meeting or Championship, as per the Constitution. Please read the Terms of the Competition before entering.
We are now using Scottish Golf for competition administration.
You will need to enter (register) using the Scottish Golf App on your phone. Ensure you have the most up to date version of the App by checking in the relevant store.
If you have not used the App before, please follow the instructions here to set it up.
Then, after making your payment by bank transfer first (see below), follow the instructions here to enter the competition.
You will see Competition Zone on the App and you will need to choose a preferred time slot. If your preferred time slot is Fully Booked, please email competitions@mclga.com, as the time slots will be managed as per the competition terms. You may not see the Competition Zone option if you do not have the most up to date version of the App.
For special requests eg. a specific tee time, or to be near a travelling companion, please email competitions@mclga.com. Ensure your email is acknowledged by the Competition Administrator.
PAYMENT: The entry fee of £16.00 is to be paid by Bank Transfer – see below. Please make your payment BEFORE submitting the booking on the app and ensure you set up the reference as specified. This helps the secretary and treasurer to reconcile your entry.

Championship Qualification
The players who qualify for the Championship matchplay will be the 16 players who have indicated on the day of the Spring Meeting that they are available for the Championship matchplay returning the 16 lowest gross scores at the Spring Meeting.
The players who qualify for the B Championship matchplay will be the 8 players with a Handicap Index of 13.0 and above, who have indicated on the day of the Spring Meeting that they are available for the B Championship matchplay, returning the 8 lowest gross scores at the Spring Meeting.
