On a lovely day, the Midlothian County Team’s practice matches started on a high. Meeting the Borders at Newbattle Golf Club today, the main team came away with a 4-o win while the juniors recorded a 1-1 draw. Despite the snow, Newbattle Golf Course was in great order and it was a pleasure to be given courtesy to play our match. Both the main and Junior Squads played greensomes, with the juniors playing off handicaps and Midlothian giving 9 shots in each match.
