Saturday 30 September

Jane Turner of Mortonhall birdied the last hole at Glencorse Golf Club to win the Midlothian County Junior Girls Championship and the Brown Trophy by one stroke from Rachael Livingstone of Musselburgh Old. The handicap prize and the Marshall Trophy was won by Cara Easton of Dalmahoy. At the prize-giving, junior girls who regularly play in the 9 Hole Competitions which the County run for beginners throughout the year were also presented with their prizes.
Gabrielle Macdonald (Prestonfield) received the Livingstone Trophy for most improved player of the year. Gabrielle has reduced her handicap from 30 to 17 this year. Well done Gabrielle. Our thanks go to Rachael Livingstone for very kindly donating this trophy to the juniors.
