We invited 21 players into the Squad for 2023, which includes 3 juniors, with a view to picking a team of 8 plus 1 reserve for the Inter County Matches to be held at Gullane No. 2 on Monday 3rd to Wednesday 5th July. I’m delighted to advise all 21 players have accepted the invitation!

Short game clinics will commence in February at Turnhouse Golf Club run by PGA Professional, Chloe Thackeray.

We also have some warm-up matches lined up where a team of 8 or 10 will play against:

  • Borders County at Peebles GC on Sunday 19th March
  • Lanarkshire County at Baberton GC on Sunday 2nd April
  • Scottish Veteran Ladies at The Royal Burgess GS on Sunday 14th May
  • Scottish Universities Golfing Society (SUGS) at Gullane No2 on the evening of Friday 26 May.

We will continue with some Intra-Squad sessions in April and May, where the players will be paired up and play against each other to enable some additional games, whilst also getting to understand each others’ games to benefit the foursomes format.

Many thanks to the Midlothian Clubs who are kindly hosting the above matches.
