The junior girls had their second coaching session of the year over the Templar Golf Course on Saturday. It was a very windy day so it provided very testing condition for them. The girls spirits are never dampened by the weather and they took on the challenge with smiles on their faces. The on course coaching is provided by some MCLGA volunteers who give the girls guidance on course etiquette and golf basics. A big thank you to Lynette Clutton, Diane Neave, Eileen Stevenson, Fiona Ford and Molly Nicholson. The girls really appreciated hearing Molly’s journey as one of our most recent junior who moved into the senior MCLGA team and understanding the steps the girls need to take to achieve this. Lynette was also given the opportunity to meet 4 junior girl who are members at Ravelston and witness the youth coming through at her Club.
