MCLGA held their first coaching session for the Braids girls on the Templar Golf Course on Saturday. It was a fabulous warm sunny day in March with the girls making the most of being able to wear shorts and tee shirts so early in the season. The were 14 girls participating in this coaching session ranging from 8 to 15 years, some had never been on a golf course before but they all had a great time and enjoyed the experience. A big thank you to the Junior Development Squad who were paired with each group and provided some guidance and course management on the way round. All the girls returned very commendable scores thus proving the coaching at Braids is paying off. Hopefully they now have a target to work towards and improve on when they return to the Templar Course in November. Fingers crossed the weather is favourable to us then too.
