This ladies tournament was first played in 1989 to complement the success of the Eden Tournament and attracts many lady golfers who compete in the same competition format as the men’s event.
Over 100 ladies (with a handicap index not exceeding 28.4) compete in this 36 hole qualifying scratch and handicap match play tournament.
The Strathtyrum Trophy, presented by the Cheape family, owners of the Strathtyrum Estate, is awarded to the scratch winner with the Strathtyrum Salver awarded to the handicap winner.
