Hannah Darling, Broomieknowe, along with 4 other Scottish players have been selected by the R&A to be part of a 19 strong squad of players for the Vagliano Match in 2019. The Vagliano Trophy is a biennial encounter between GB & I against the Continent of Europe which will be played at Royal St Georges in 2019. Congratulations Hannah and good luck with final selection.
Vicki Laing, Gabrielle MacDonald and Jane Turner (Honorary/former MCLGA members) all qualified for the final qualifying round of the European Access Tour at Lalla Aicha in Morocco. Unfortunately Gabrielle withdrew from the event due to the recent sad passing of her mum. Vikki Laing finished in joint 27th position on 2 under par and Jane Turner finished joint 34th on 1 under par. A top 26 finish gives players full access onto the Tour next year which means Vikki and Jane will have access into some Tournaments. We look forward to seeing Gabrielle back in action next season and all the best with the Tour in 2019 Vikki and Jane.
