The conditions was great for the players in the East of Scotland Championship over the Jubilee course, St. Andrews. The Team event was not held this year due to some extra restrictions being asked by the First Minister from some Health Board areas.
East Lothians Grace Crawford had an excellent scratch score of 73 to be crowned East of Scotland Champion 2020. Clara Young, North Berwick, 2nd with a 75 and Elaine Moffat, St Regulus, 3rd with a 79. Congratulations Grace.
Midlothian triumphed in the handicap section with Fife Captains daughter, Melissa Hutcheon from Ratho Park, winning 1st handicap with a net 73. Ailsa Cackett, Broomieknowe, 2nd with 74 BIH from Midlothian’s Vice Captain Isla McCrone, Turnhouse, 74.
Well done to all winners and thanks to Fife for hosting and managing to go ahead with the event after all the preparation was completed.
