On Saturday 2nd March our president, Margaret Fergusson, and our treasurer, Jane MacDonald, joined over one hundred ELLCGA ladies to celebrate their centenary this year. The event, in the Marine hotel North Berwick, started with a glass of fizz and a welcome from ELLCGA captain Frances Hall and was followed by a delicious lunch. After lunch Gillian Kirkwood gave an excellent and informative talk on the history of ELLCGA which was followed by Jayne Smith reminiscing on her experiences of representing East Lothian. Margaret then presented a trophy on behalf of MCLGA, Stirling and Clackmannanshire County Ladies Golf Association and Fife Ladies Golf Association to mark their centenary. Congratulations to ELLCGA on reaching their centenary and all best wishes for the next 100 years!
