The following junior girls have been selected to represent Midlothian in the Cuthbertson Cup. Midlothian is hosting this year and the tournament is being held at Turnhouse Golf Club on Sunday 24 September. The Midlothian girls have won the past two years so are going for three in a row!
All four East of Scotland Division counties (East Lothian, Fife, Midlothian & Stirling & Clackmannanshire) participate and the draw is:
Match 1: Stirling & Clackmannanshire v Midlothian
Match 2: East Lothian v Fife
Unfortunately, East Lothian has been unable to raise a Team but will have two girls who will be joined by one girl from Fife and one from Midlothian who will play against for the Fife Team. The Fife Team will get a bye straight into the final.
The format is four single matches in the morning; in the afternoon the 2 winning Counties play singles again and the 2 losing Counties play foursomes.
Morning play starts from 9.30am and afternoon play from 1.45pm. It would be great to have you come along and support the girls!!
