Another glorious day for a MCLGA event, this time at Liberton Golf Club for the Commonwealth Spoons. Not only was the sun shining for our competitors the course was in excellent condition for them. The Commonwealth Spoons is a foursome strokeplay competition which runs as a qualifying competition for the Scottish Final, organised by Scottish Golf, to compete for the Commonwealth Spoons donated by the Australian Ladies Golf Union. 10% of the field (7 couples today) will qualify to play at Pollock GC (Glasgow) on Monday 2nd September. Thanks to everybody who bought raffle squares supporting our Juniors. The total amount raised was ยฃ188. The winners were –

ยฃ132 (70% of amount raised) went towards MCLGA junior funds.
