It is with deep regret we inform the Membership of the passing of Barbara Cooper. Barbara was a member of Baberton Golf Club and Captain of Midlothian County in 1979 and 1980. Barbara sadly passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 23 2020 aged 91 years. Barbara will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a private funeral service on Friday October 2 2020. Barbara attended the well organised Midlothian Centenary Lunch in 2009 at the Roxburgh Hotel. Members will recall the afternoon which drew many female golfers from all generations. Barbara can be seen in the Past Captains photo below back row second from the left.
