A relatively mild start greeted the 32 teams for the Caddy Fundraiser at Dalmahoy Golf & Country Club. The championship East Course was set up to test us all.
A busy start for the desk with players generously donating to the raffle and guess the number of tees, won by Amy Foster (Dalmahoy) with 301 (number of tees was 295), who takes home a gin gift set.
Those in the earlier tee times certainly got the best of the day with the rain coming in at 3pm but this did not deter the winners who obviously used local knowledge to their advantage.
Congratulations to The Birdies, Amy Foster (Dalmahoy), Amanda Liddell (Royal Burgess), Monique Keijnemans (Dalmahoy) on winning the Tri-Am SUGS Decanter, and a £50 voucher each, with an excellent score of 84 points.
Thank you to all who supported the event and also bought raffle tickets online, we raised an amazing £2226 which will support the costs of our caddies at county events this year with some going into the pot for next years’ competitions. The raffle for the Jacket donated by Hilary Laughland will carry on until the AGM when the winner will be announced.
