The annual Adult Junior Greensome event took place on Sunday at the Swanston Templar Course. We timed it perfectly to avoid the recent haar thats been hampering our golf. As ever it was a hotly contested competition with the adults under immense pressure not to let the girls down. I witnessed some amazing golf shots which just shows the lessons at Braids on Sunday mornings are really paying off and the girls have improved so much (also inspired by the Seve photo in the background!). A huge thank you to Mike Robson and his team at Swantson who are so accommodating to MCLGA juniors, it is very much appreciated by everyone. The results were very close, in 3rd place was Fiona and Anna Ford nett 27.6, 2nd place was Robbie and Connie McDowell nett 26.5 and this year’s winners of the Hennessey Trophy are Niall and Georgie Gray with nett 25.
