Last Week Midlothian had their 100th AGM (Centenary Year was 2009), where 62 full members attended.

The Junior report was first on the Agenda followed by the Junior Prize Giving. The Prizes were presented by President Norma Richmond.

2018 minutes and Accounts were happily approved by the Membership. A complete review of the Constitution took place in 2019 and after 6 versions and a consultation with the Membership in the Summer, the proposed amendments were accepted and adopted. All Members can view the Constitution on the web site.

Norma Richmond handed over the Presidents badge to Sheila Stuart and after 14 years Maureen McLeod handed over the Treasurer role to Mary Stark. Brenda Russell who has been Independent Examiner for 14+ years also steps down from her position. All women accepted some beautiful flowers from the Membership and Maureen got an extra special gift in liquid form after her exceptional amount of time and effort given to Midlothian over the years.

The Presentation of Prizes followed the Business of the AGM and our new President Sheila Stuart presented the Trophies and Prize vouchers. Thanks to our Junior Champion, Lucy Morrison, for her junior speech and vote of thanks after the junior presentation and thanks to Champion of all Champions, Karen Marshall, for her Vote of Thanks at the end of the evening.

Some fabulous golf was played this year by Midlothian members and Midlothian was well represented at various events at all levels from Junior to Senior. Looking forward to 2020 already 🏌️‍♀️⛳️ 😎
