Congratulations to Megan Fallon, Broomieknowe Golf Club who is Midlothian’s Junior Champion for 2022 ⛳️👍🏻🤩
On a day when all the players were relieved to see some sunshine after experiencing the spell of miserable weather over the last few days, the golf on display was suitably good.
It was great to see all the juniors chatting & enjoying playing Prestonfield, with an accompaniment of bagpipe music from Prestonfield House & a beautiful backdrop of Arthur’s Seat. Many thanks to the club for courtesy of the course, which was in great condition.
Megan won the Brown Trophy for the best scratch score of 87 from Kirsten Murison, Craigmillar Park Golf Club, with an 88.
The Marshall Trophy awarded to the best nett score was won by Abbi Millar, Liberton Golf Club, with a 79, with Alannah Nichol from Swanston Golf Club, runner-up with an 83.
Congratulations to all the girls, it was a good day of golf for Midlothian’s last junior competition of the season.
